Step-By-Step Guide: Background Layouts for Facebook (SECRET METHOD)

Caution: Your friends may scream and completely freak out when seeing your awesome customized Facebook Profile. You may also have a swarm of people sending you messages in panic wondering how they too can customize their profiles. You have been warned!

Edit: People have been asking whether it works on Mac. Yes, it works on Mac and PC!

Step 1. Okay, first you go to this cool website called PageRage and then Select Your Layout:

Step 2. Then, simply follow the directions for setting up Yontoo Layers and you're done!

Notes: The whole process takes about 2 minutes. There are 1000's of themes, so you have a lot of choices. Also, unlike the ugly Myspace layouts, these ones actually look really good and professional.

PageRage is the first and only virtual layering application that allows you to customize your Facebook page.

HOW IT WORKS:
Page Rage layouts for Facebook are made possible because of a new application called Yontoo Layers. Yontoo Layers creates a virtual layer over your browser window. PageRage is what's called a Layer App that works on Yontoo Layers. It enables users to add content over their Facebook page that appears to have been added directly to the page.

First, install Yontoo Layers. Next, browse through the available layouts to find the one you want to load onto your Facebook page. Click the select button on the desired layout and enter your Facebook login credentials.

Please note that your credentials are transmitted securely and will not be retained by PageRage for any reason without the user's consent. Once you’ve provided your credentials, click the Apply button and your layout will be added to your Facebook page.

If you would like to remove the layout from your Facebook page, simply click on the Remove Layout link at the bottom of any layout page on the PageRage website.

Facebook layouts are a brand new concept. While Myspace was the predominant social choice for users, the consensus has shifted for the best social media platform over to Facebook. Their chat utilizes facebook expressions and flawless messaging, while the perfection that is facebook graphics is truly professional and pure. Facebook tweaks may not be aplenty, as they were with myspace. And, you can't pimp facebook as easily as you can myspace with facebook codes, since they don't want you to be able to do so. However, with new PageRage creation you can actually implement facebook backgrounds and other cool facebook stuff easily and quickly. While Facebook doesn't want you to know that there actually are facebook wallpapers and facebook themes out there, this site is here to show that it actually can be done.

Facebook wallpaper codes are now unnecessary, as you can simply just use the easy, functional facebook profile editor to install facebook skins and free facebook layouts carelessly. Free facebook codes may come some time in the future, when Facebook opens up its platform to allow it to be easily done, but for now using the software and selecting free facebook skins from a gallery is the best and fastest way.

I believe that everyone should have a facebook wallpaper background, because even though the core theme of white and blue is nice, let's be honest and admit we'd like to spice it up a little. Facebook themes and layouts add color, emotion, and, most importantly, expression to your profile. Your profile picture and the information you enter about yourself do tell your colleagues and friends some things about you, but with some facebook profile editing you can show more than that - you can show personality. Small little facebook profile tweaks that they're trying to restrict you from doing, actually do a better job of what the site was initially created to do: show personality and tell about who you really are.
